I'm Kenny 👋 and I started Standard Computers as a software company in Cincinnati, Ohio. I've spent my years in management at Chipotle®, Miami University, and Cintas®; but have loved coding since I was ~14.

I currently help Cintas® navigate innovation projects for their supply chain. This includes using AI, automation, robotics, etc. to enhance business processes.
The tools and content we use online are scattered across dozens of apps and companies. The tools are convenient but the tradeoff is clear: we are not in control.
Standard Computers was created to change that. The idea is simple: your digital life should run on a computer you own, the internet should be a relay, and a proprietary device should not be required.
The Standard System is a server-based platform designed to bring the core pieces of personal computing back under your control. Installed on a dedicated machine, it becomes the central hub for your data — storing, organizing, and managing the things that normally live across cloud services; all in one system.
The Standard System uses standards to identify objects like emails, files, notes, etc. The system has its own DB and coding language called standard coding to structure data in a consistent way so everything works together naturally across applications.
Connectivity is handled through relays, which allow devices and systems to communicate with each other when needed. A user can run their own relay or connect through a public one, enabling synchronization and communication without relying on centralized platforms.
By standardizing data and systems, records and connections between them help the Standard System re-envisions how we interact with technology.
