Relay
If you intend to implement your own Standard confguration, chances are you will need a different relay than the public relay available to Standard Devices.
Public Relay
You are welcome to point your Standard instance to the public relay indicated in the config.conf by using relay: relay.standardcomputers.net but this will remove some oversight into your device transactions.
To setup a relay, run Standard in master mode with no children. The relay instance does not require a routes.yaml. This opens the Standard instance running as a relay to inbound socket connection requests. Standard instances that connect to a relay must be in master-client mode or simply client mode.
